I think most people are familiar with Thorntons goodies, but Thorntons are now selling gift collections which give you a wonderful opportunity to try out more of their range of chocolates, toffees, fudge and other favourites. In the gift collection range there are various options to choose from, some even include chocolates especially for Dad with Father’s day messages such as ‘Happy Father’s Day’ and ‘World’s Best Dad’.
If a huge gift collection is too much chocolate for one dad to manage this Father’s Day then Thorntons have selected some of their boxes and bags of Toffees which would make a lovely Father’s Day treat! See www.thorntons.co.uk/thumbnail/2492.uts for some ideas.
When I was asked to review some chocolates for Thorntons as a gift for Father’s Day I was more than happy to accept. I was asked to review the Family Night In Gift Bundle, which included Thorntons Classics, Special Toffee, Fabulous Fudge, Thorntons Continental to name but a few of the sweet treats in the collection box!
In order to write the review I had to ‘sample’ some of the chocolates and as it was a gift bundle intended for Father’s Day I had to also let hubby eat some too! They are all delicious with the chocolate smothered fudge probably being my personal favourite!
I must stress, we haven’t eaten them all just yet! There are enough chocolates in the gift collection to last quite a few weeks! This does make the gift collections really good value for money.
My husband has a real sweet tooth so he likes them all and I think he has really enjoyed Father’s Day coming a little early this year! Over the weekend I left him watching t.v. and went to bed and when I walked in the lounge the following morning I was greeted by and empty bag of Thorntons Classics, these had not been opened when I went to bed the night before! So definitely a very popular gift in our house
If you are looking for a Father’s Day gift that Dad will love then look no further! And as an added win, if you did buy one of Thorntons Gift Collections there will probably be too much for Dad to eat by himself to the rest of the family might just have to help him with these yummy goodies!
Or if you didn’t want to indulge dad with a huge collection of different Thorntons treats, a bag or box of their Toffee would be a great little gift for Father’s Day. With these delicious little treats costing no more than £5 they’re a great choice for any budget.
In our house boxes of chocolates have always been for really special occasions, mainly Christmas and Birthdays, occasionally Valentines day, but now we have children I am hoping that Mother’s Day and Father’s Day will increase our chances of being bought some more lovely choccies! And if my son is reading this, I would always be more than happy with some chocolates from Thorntons!
