In the run up to Easter when the children have broken up from school for the Easter holidays, the last thing you want to do is drag the kids round the supermarket while you do your weekly shop. You end up buying extra things you don’t really need or want to spend money; on or in order to make the experience less painful, you end up rushing round the aisles and forgetting some essentials meaning you have to make a return visit.
There is another way… online grocery shopping!
Browse the virtual aisles at your convenience and have your shopping delivered to your door at a time that suits you!
And Tesco have now made it even easier with their Favourites function.
Here’s a little video to explain more and make life even simpler!
The video short stars Emily and Tom practising to become world famous magicians (soon to be known as ‘The Extraordinary Emily and Tiny Tomini’!) but despite trying card tricks and disappearing acts it’s not working out so well for them. However, for their final trick, Emily and Tom make the shopping magically appear on their doorstep and are astounded…little do they know that in the meantime, mum and dad have been shopping with Tesco online.
Heres a ‘How to’ on how to use the favourites function:
Just enter your Clubcard number online when you register and the products will be waiting for you in Favourites – you can then just whizz through that list to add any items you want to buy to your shopping basket. You will have ‘Favourites’ after you have completed your 1st online shop (ready for your second shop) – give it a try!
Products will appear in Favourites immediately after purchasing online or up to 7 days after purchasing in-store.
It’s a great way to save time doing your online shopping so you can spend more precious time with the special people in your life!
